Why this works...
I carry my weight in the mid section, so for me it's always about creating a waistline and accentuating the curve of my hip. This dress comes with a thin braided belt, but I felt it was getting lost in my waistline, and {to be honest} it was a bit too tight, so I swapped it out for a colorful, printed scarf, worn as a belt. The denim vest adds a layer of interest, and helps accentuate my waist, without covering up the crochet ruffle detail on the sleeve.
"Think outside the fashion box" and try something creative!
