Rock Steady

Last night was show 5 of 7 that No Doubt is performing here in LA at the Gibson Amphitheatre, and my beau, Chuey Martinez, who is an on-air personality for KIIS FM here in LA was asked introduce the bands.  Since Sunday night is usually date night, this made for an extra special one!
We had total backstage VIP access and pit passes to watch the show, so now I am officially spoiled and concert-going will never be the same!

I wore a plus size animal print tunic top (actually a dress that I purchased on clearance had altered to be a bit shorter- similar here) and my favorite pair of plus size skinny jeggings (which I LOVE because they come in TALL/34" inseam- perfect for me b/c I am 5'11")- both from Torrid (available here), and pulled it all together with a draped faux-leather plus size blazer from INC for Macy's (similar here).

STYLE TIP: GET IT ALTERED! Minor alterations can take something in your closet from unwearable to a complete go-to, and it usually costs less than $20 at your local dry cleaner!

Embellished flats from Avenue (several seasons ago), black heart necklace from Nordstrom Rack (one of my absolute fav places to buy jewelry), sparkly wrap bracelets (Lane Bryant- gifted several seasons ago) and black statement ring from Old Navy, and of course, my beloved Marc by Marc Jacobs tote that goes everywhere with me (available here).
Hair in sock bun, red lips (Pirate by Chanel), lashes- BOOM! Rocker chic.

Such an amazing night and No Doubt KILLED it! If you are a fan and you have not had a chance to see them live, I highly recommend it! This was my 3rd time seeing them live, and they did not disappoint!
