Gearing Up for Love Your Body Day 2010

I have teamed with Chenese Lewis for the 2nd year as the fashion show coordinator for the 5th anniversary of Love Your Body Day.  The Hollywood Chapter of the National Organization for Women will be celebrating Love Your Body Day October 22nd through October 24th in West Hollywood, CA.

Produced by Chenese Lewis Productions, LLC and co-sponsored by the city of West Hollywood, Love Your Body Day is an annual event where women of all sizes come together to celebrate a day of self-acceptance to promote positive body image.
Whitney Thompson, the only plus model to win 'America's Next Top Model' will host the festival which is open to the public and will take place Saturday, October 23rd at West Hollywood Park Auditorium from 12-4 pm.  The festival will include performances by various singers, actors, dancers, and spoken word artists.  The pinnacle of the festivities is the "real women" fashion show, where models will be flaunting styles of various plus-size designers and retailers.  This will be the second year that I will be the fashion show coordinator for the event, I have been working hard along side Chenese Lewis to select models and designers to participate in the show.
The Love Your Body Day celebration has expanded to a weekend full of events, which includes a launch party on Friday, October 22nd, the festival, fashion show, and comedy show on Saturday, October 23rd, and body image panel discussion taking place on Sunday, October 24th.
