Model Bag 101

To be a successful model, it is essential to have a complete model bag.  Models often ask me for my suggestions on items they should have in their bags, and what investments they should be making to create the best collection of "tools".  I am often surprised and disappointed at how under prepared models, no matter how seasoned, are when they arrive at a photo shoot. 
In this month's issue of PLUS Model Magazine I have given the "low-down" on what it takes to create the perfect model bag, giving suggestions on my favorite items to include.  I have included detailed information on exactly which items you need, why you need them, and where to find them.  Also, the very talented make up artist and PLUS Model Magazine Beauty editor, Artemis, was kind enough to share some of her beauty recommendations with me, so that I could pass them onto you as well.
There is not always going to be a make-up artist and stylist on set with you, so you should always be as prepared as you can.  Creating a complete model bag is a great start to accomplishing all of your modeling goals. It is so refreshing to work with models that are prepared and have taken the time to focus on the job at hand and bring the correct "tools" with them to a shoot. 
Remember- "Luck is when preparation meets opportunity", so always be prepared, put your best foot forward and handle yourself with professionalism- I guarantee it will be noted!
